The What Is Missing? Foundation works to create innovative artworks that utilize sound, media and scientific and historical information to connect people to the species, places and natural phenomena that have disappeared, or will most likely disappear, if we don’t act to protect them. I have worked for over seven years as a lead designer and researcher for architect Maya Lin’s science-based art memorial. My work for WIM includes project management, environmental research, photography research, development of print and multimedia projects, print design, web design, coordination of public and private events, management of creative consultants, marketing, public relations, on-site photography, archive maintenance, social media strategy, and more. Below is a sample of the work I have created for WIM. Click on an image to see a larger version.
