The What Is Missing? Foundation works to create innovative artworks that utilize sound, media and scientific and historical information to connect people to the species, places and natural phenomena that have disappeared, or will most likely disappear if we don’t act to protect them. In 2023 WIM was awarded two Webbys — Best Navigation/Structure and Activism.
For over ten years I worked as a lead designer and researcher for architect Maya Lin’s science-based art memorial. My work for WIM centered on project management, environmental and photography research, development of international art installations,web design, management of creative consultants, marketing, social media strategy, and more. Below is a sample of the work I created for WIM (although I very much encourage you to visit the website as it continues to evolve in glorious ways).
