Grandfamilies & Kinship Support Network

The Kinship Network is the first-ever national technical assistance center for those who serve grandfamilies & kinship families—families in which grandparents, other adult family members, or close family friends are raising children, with no biological parents in the home. Working with a diverse stakeholder group of government agencies and nonprofit organizations in states, tribes, and territories that span jurisdictional and systemic boundaries, they strive to improve support and services for those who step in to raise children when parents cannot.

I led a team of designers, user experience strategists, and developers to create their inaugural bi-lingual website and online resource library. We took care to employ people-forward imagery to craft a modern, welcoming design that creates a visual connection between The Kinship Network and their affiliate organization, Generation’s United.
